Adding color to your kitchen

White has been a popular color choice for kitchens for quite some time now, and while it?s still a common look that homeowners lean towards, this will be the year that we see more color being brought into the kitchen. This doesn?t mean that there will be an overuse of color; just more touches of color will be seen to allow homeowners to add a personal touch to the space. The colors will most likely come from the neutral color palette, so even in an overly white kitchen, neutral shades can still make your room pop and stand out. Hints of blue and grey are great choices to incorporate into your kitchen, as they pair well with white and stainless steel appliances. If your cabinets and countertops are white, try adding color either to your walls or cabinets. If painting your cabinets or installing new cabinets is too much of an overhaul, painting your kitchen island is another great option to really make a statement!
