The Carlson Family

While we remain committed to provide exceptional products and pricing, ultimately our experience has been that the customers make the difference. Personal connection is the major ingredient of the Carlson’s Flooring experience. For over 45 years, we have served our customers as if they were family.

Family owned and operated, we began in 1967 by inviting people into our home to make their selections of carpet, tile, and rugs. Today, our showroom is the family showpiece. However, the mindset of having guests in our home has never changed. Every customer is our guest.

To maintain the excellence established by Don and Shirley Carlson over their many years of service, their son and daughter, owners Greg Carlson and Lisa Carlson Nelson, are closely involved in the daily affairs of Carlson’s. Greg and Lisa bring the experience they learned from their parents, along with a whole new set of ideas on how to make Carlson’s Flooring the best place to buy flooring.

Our Commitment

At Carlson’s, the quality of our products is of vital importance. As a locally owned business, we seek to find the best quality for a great price. We believe that flooring, whether carpet, tile, or an area rug, is an investment for your home. The flooring options we pick are ones we believe you will be able to have around for a long time and enjoy, without having to continually replace it, because quality matters to us.

Cutting corners to keep cost down is not something we believe in. We believe the flooring and tile we put in our customers’ homes should last a long time. We want their flooring, years later, to look as good as the day we installed it. Because of this desire, we pay attention to the details. There are typically three things that drive a buying decision:
